Hi everyone, it's Vera. I can't believe it's been nearly two months since I posted here - sorry about that. As you can see from this photo of me I've lost a few pounds. Yes, on purpose. Didn't lose too much in my boobs, thank goodness.
Our beloved Kaatje, Marti's assistant, has taken to naming all of us models after natural elements. Hi all, it's Vera writing and me in the picture which was taken during a break in one of my photo sessions. For the published photos, the wood floor was not visible so the only background was the gray couch, the charcoal rug, and some black pillows along with brunette hair extensions. Lin thought the grays would show off my slinky purple dress and my curves. Do you think she's right?
As we've written here before, Emily and I are always in a friendly competition with good natured ribbing of each other. It's true that she is noon and I am midnight. She is summer and I am winter. Dana here writing to praise Vera (pictured) who has become a fantastic and oh-so-sexy model for Studio M. I might even go so far to say she is our best photo model. She'll be the first to admit that photography is her medium as she often gets frustrated with herself when on video. I (Emily) just had to post a photo of Vera before I signed off this morning. Hello again everyone. Dana writing about the pictured Vera. As General Manager of Studio M, I am well aware of the degrees of financial success of the many ladies we have in front of the camera and, indeed, the bottom line of the Studio. First of all, let me make clear that those are not my (Dana's) legs and my ass in the picture: they're Vera's. There's a bit of a funny story behind the photo. I purchased an out building from the studio across the lot with the intention of storing some of Studio M's overflow props. Some of our guys cleaned out the building and laid things out in case we wanted any of it, which, for the most part, we didn't. Vera, however, claimed this ugly brown setting piece. Lin, her manager and photographer, was horrified. ("What!," Lin exclaimed. "It's poop brown. It's poop brown. You don't want." Vera's response was "If the backdrop is so bad then my body is all that they'll see." Lin acquiesced. I think it works, don't you?
