The second thing I wanted to write about was Roxanne's last post about her and Mom getting married.  I wasn't too shocked when Mom approached me about it because she had been constantly wanting Roxanne around her and always seemed to be smiling and laughing more when they were together.  And I am very happy for them both.  Mom has done so much for me and Maria that she deserves someone to love as a partner and Roxanne brightens any room she is in with her effervescent personality and desire to make everyone happy.  Mom stressed over and over than the business will pass to Maria and I when she retires and that most of her fortune will as well (I hope that will be a long time coming), but I am glad there is enough wealth to go around to keep Roxanne living well for a long time to come.

Oh but it is true that Roxanne is going to have to live with Maria's and my devilish senses of humor about someone young enough for us to be her mother while she will be our stepmother!  She can take it - she already is!  Welcome to the family, mommy dearest!
