Hey everyone, Dana writing about this photo of Marti. There's a story behind it, but first the photo was rejected for several reasons: one is where she is standing, it makes the tail end of the blue heron painting look like sunken angel wings; second, she's fixing a "vedgie." The third is actually pretty damn hot - the fabric over her left breast is starting to rip due to the strain of keeping those huge tits in place!
Now for the story: Some very wealthy patron hired a prominent photographer to fly here to Florida to spend a day taking photos of Marti. So he showed up with an assistant and the two of them along with Maria, Daphne and Kaatje from our studio fulfilled the patrons wishes. The next morning - it was a Friday when most of us work half a day - he sat down with Maria, Roxy and myself to discuss the photos. We were all surprised when his opening statement was something like: "I want to apply to be one of your staff photographers."
A staff photographer! This guy, who likes to be called "Hickory" by his friends (not his real name), is a highly awarded, very professional photographer whose work has appeared in museums and high-end journals wants to be one of our staff photographers?!? Doing nude photography?!? He said he had plans to retire at the end of 2023 and move to Florida but if he could photograph Marti he would move his plans up 11 months and join us. Maria, who knew of him and his status prior to the session, was ecstatic to work with him, especially since she wanted to spend more time in front of the camera and would give up her position as Marti's main photographer only to someone of Hickory's stature in the art. Maria's enthusiasm was enough for me to hire him and Roxy was thrilled to find he was so enthralled with photographing Marti. We called Marti who was in her dressing room reading some scripts and we joined her. She quickly approved of Hickory taking Maria's place as her lead photographer, at least her still photographer who only wanted to do her R-rated stuff (no porn).
To celebrate, we did an afternoon, impromptu photo session of Marti in her dressing room and thus this picture. It was taken by Roxy and not Hickory - I doubt he would have taken one that looked like Marti had wings coming out of her lower spine!
To have such a professional as Hickory wanting to spend the remainder of his fabulous career as Marti's personal photographer is quite a compliment - to Marti, especially, but also to all the rest of us who have helped to make Studio M a place he wants to be.

Roxy, I think you mainly listed reasons why it should’ve made the cut, not that I’m complaining ☺️
That the photos shared here don't meet the standards for publishing elsewhere is on the whole, irrelevant, at least to me. We get to see incredible photos of wondrously beautiful women showing off their amazing physical gifts and we get a bit of insight into their personalities too. Like you, Dana, I would unwaveringly trust Maria's judgment when it comes to the art and if it also allows her to spend more time in front of the camera, that is a huge bonus for all of us. Keep up the great work you're doing. Hopefully we'll get to see another shot of your hot ass soon.
I think it looks fantastic but then again I think every Marti pic looks absolutely great. 😘😘

Wow! That's huge news for y'all! Someone so experienced recognizes the quality and professionalism of your studio!
I kind of like the wings in the background. Makes you look like the heavenly body that you are. Plus knowing he is joining your group making Maria free for more photo layouts is even better. It's hard to imagine Marti doing only R rated photo sessions. Her simple appearance makes everything adult rated.
