Here's a photo of Marti passing by a few of us and giving us a knowing smile as she walks toward the door and an outdoor photo session. We're all nervous as hell: Is the makeup right? How about the outfit and hair? Is the setting as it should be? Where's the sun for the best lighting? And the shade for interesting effects? The photographers are worrying over angles and lenses and backdrops. Is it cloudy? Windy? For me, was my idea for the photo shoot a good one?
We're all nervous - everyone except Marti. She is so trusting of us all that she feels no matter what happens it will be perfect. She's not worried about making perfect poses for she knows we all know it's not her forté and her goofs are worth a good laugh. She's having fun and it's catching and soon we're all having fun. And the photos happen. And, despite it all, they're wonderful!
